The attack type controls use A for jump, B primary weapon, L dash, and R secondary weapon. Works really well if you're right handed since you can charge the primary weapon and manipulate jumps with the same finger, then charge the secondary weapon with the same hand while moving and dashing with the other hand.
-Edit: After getting the lightning chip from Aztec Falcon, I recommend taking out the train to get the fire chip, then finding the ice chip. Be wary of the stage in which you have to protect a factory. It's one of the most nasty stages in the game. You'll have to fight a 3 health bar ninja right off the bat (the easy part), then find all eight bombs he planted (the hard part and you're under a time limit during this).
